The 5th Digital Government Summit 2007,
(formally known as ICT FOR GOVERNMENT)
is a cost effective marketing opportunity to bring participants immediate value in content, training and sales.
The Summit this year, was held from 22-24 October at The Kofi Annan Center of ICT Excellence.
The theme for 5th Digital Government Summit 2007 was Ghana @ 50: Creating Opportunities for Sustained Socio-Economic Growth.
We feel that this theme will represent the continuous efforts being made by your ministry and our organizations in ensuring that technology makes a difference in the life of the good people of Ghana.
The intended objective of the summit was to showcase a number of successful ICT led initiatives around the country and also to enlighten the delegates on various developments and trends in information and communication technologies at Government level. We also plan to use the platform to highlight the automation efforts being made by MDA’S and other key arms of government. We would also seek your support in inviting your colleague ministers to talk about their plans on how they intend to harness technology in delivering improved services to the citizenry as well as to see for themselves the innovations taking place in ICTs and Government.
The expected participants will as usual be heads of various government business units, directors, chief executives and other officers of district assemblies, members of parliament, heads of quasi-government institutions, state corporations and other national bodies. |
